Sydney candles are simple, handcrafted products made by a family operated business. Every candle is hand-poured using 100 soy wax which produces a creamy, soft and opaque texture. We do not use paraffin wax or any type of soy/paraffin blends. We believe strongly that pure soy wax offers many benefits over traditional paraffin candles. Here are a few reasons why . . .

Longer Burn Time

Soy wax burns at a lower, cooler temperature allowing for a longer burn time than paraffin wax. This means that your Sydney candle will last much longer than paraffin candles. Our quart size candles burn for approximately 160 hours, and our pints last for approximately 90 hours.

Highly Fragranced

Because soy wax burns at a cooler temperature than paraffin wax, the fragrance is distributed better throughout a room. In addition, Sydney candles are infused with the maximum fragrance oil allowable resulting in a strong, long-lasting aroma. You've just got to smell our candles! Environmentally Safe and Toxin Free

Made from naturally grown soybeans, soy wax is biodegradeable, leaves little to no soot and does not emit toxins. Paraffin wax, on the other hand, is a by-product of petroleum and produces carcinogens in the environment and soot when burned. Sydney soy candles also feature wicks that are made from 100 cotton, keeping them free of lead, zinc or any other type of alloy metal.
